Welcome back to my weekly segment. Besides answering questions each week I will also offer movie reviews for movies out in the theaters and some you may have missed which you must see. This week I review Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2.
MOVIE REVIEW: GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2
Overall I was a bit disappointed in the movie. I know it is difficult to recapture the magic of the original but James Gunn (writer and director) struggled to find the right tone and story for this movie. Is it still fun? At times, yes because the actors (especially Dave Batista as Drax and Michael Rooker as Yondu) bring their "A" game to this movie but they can only do so much with the script involved. I would consider this movie the equivalent to Avengers: Age of Ultron: Had all the potential in the world to be as good as the original but fell way short.
Grading scale from 1-10 (1 being a Little Caesar's pizza and 10 being 5 Guys Burgers) I'd give GOTG Vol. 2 a grade of California Pizza Kitchen Sicilian Recipe Pizza.
MOVIE OF THE WEEK YOU MAY HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE: SING STREET
If you haven't seen Sing Street yet do yourself a favor and see it this weekend. It's an amazing movie about finding yourself, finding love and never giving up on your dreams. Well written/acted/directed and the best part is the music. Brings back a whole bunch of oldies but goodies (Duran Duran, The Cure, Hall and Oates) as well as some great new songs. You can rent this on DVD or watch it on Netflix and Amazon.
Onto this week's questions......
To me the biggest obstacle for the Vikings will be the health of their players. Losing Bradford would likely mean no playoffs for this team. I also feel if the Vikings took more than 1 major injury at cornerback the defense could see a significant concerns in passing defense. Let's hope the Vikings can get a little lucky this year.
I do and he will make a huge impact on the DL as a starter. Brian Robison was extended for another year but age is starting to catch up to him. He is still a great backup/rotational player for Zimmer's defense but Hunter is ready to be unleashed full time.
When Floyd is off suspension (anywhere from 2-4 weeks) he SHOULD give Sam Bradford a reliable target in the red zone as well as someone who can spread a defense with his abilities. Floyd averaged 15.4 per reception for his career so he fits Pat Shurmur's scheme (WR who can make plays downfield). If Floyd can stay sober and focused he should end up with 45/600/5 TDs.
Yes.
